Boxers NYC sponsors Gotham in 2010

Gotham is excited to announce Boxers NYC as sponsors for the 2010 season. Founded by veterans of sports in the LGBT community, including Gotham veteran Chris Negado, Boxers NYC is a new sports bar that will open in April 2010.

• Boxers NYC is located at 30 West 20th Street in Chelsea (next to the old Limelight venue).

Once opened, Boxers NYC will become Gotham's home bar. Boxers NYC will host drink-ups, after practice dinners, board meetings, as well as social, boot camp, recruiting, fund-raising and promotion events. Gotham will change the location of its away-game assembly point to Boxers NYC. In addition, the sponsorship provides opportunities for Gotham to broadcast its games, and any rugby games, on the HDTV screens at events it holds at the venue, including drink-ups. Furthermore, our members and supporters are excited at the prospect of viewing key rugby tournaments there including 6-Nations, Tri-Nations, Heineken Cup, and Super-14.
